Chérie Amour is on a mission to help women feel comfortable in their own skin by helping them redefine beauty as a process of self-love and appreciation.
We want to bring awareness to a woman’s natural beauty through body neutrality, commitment to quality, and ethical sourcing.
One way that we can begin to work toward this mission is by helping to end period poverty and period stigma. Menstruation is a natural part of womanhood and we do not want to play a role in hiding this natural process. We want to help women embrace the beauty of it - to be comfortable in their own skin and love their bodies where they are at. We believe that every menstruator should have access to the products that they require to stay safe, healthy, and comfortable while on their period.
By partnering with PERIOD. The Menstrual Movement, we get to bring this idea to life.
PERIOD. is a global youth-centered non-profit whose mission is to eradicate period poverty and stigma through education, advocacy, and service. We equip and train youth leaders in their communities to do this work and make systemic change in eradicating period poverty and stigma.
In 2020, PERIOD. distributed over 5 million menstrual products to menstruators in need, and we want to be part of that.
